Tutor: Mansoor Bilal
Description:

Human Resource Management encompasses those activities designed to provide for and coordinate the HUMAN RESOURCES of an organisation. The human resource (HR) of an organisation represents one of its largest investments. The value of an organisation’s human resources frequently becomes evident when the organisation is sold. Often the purchase price is greater than the total value of the physical and financial assets. This difference, sometimes called GOODWILL, partially reflects the value of an organisation’s human resource.

Many organisations use the phrase, “Our People are our Most Important Assets” to acknowledge the important role that employees play in an organisational success. These organisations also recognise that all managers must engage in Human Resource Management activities. These managers’ interview job candidates, orient new employees, evaluate work performance, train, coach and mentor their employees.

This course will help you to understand the complex nature of work force management in an organisation. This course endeavours to equip the participants with an understanding on various human resource functions in an organization and how to effectively launch a human resource initiative.  It is more than just managing human resource.  It is managing human capital.
