The Postgraduate Research degrees programme at MIHE is validated by the University of Gloucestershire and has attracted a substantial number of national and international students. MIHE is relatively small in size but continues to develop graduate level academic study in several scholarly disciplines such as Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, Islamic Banking, Finance and Management. The Institute offers PG Research degree provision (MPhil & PhD) within these specialist fields. The Institute research development plan constitutes an integral part of its overall strategic plan. In collaboration with the University of Gloucestershire the Institute regularly organises research training workshops for students and supervisory training sessions.
