Dr. Shahrul Hussain completed his PhD at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He embarked on his Islamic education at a specialist Islamic seminary, Darul Uloom Al-Islamiyah Al-Arabiyah School & College, Birmingham. After graduating from Darul Uloom he won a scholarship to study at the University of Al-Azhar, Cairo, Egypt, and graduated from the Faculty of Islamic Jurisprudence and Law in 2001.[read more]

John Presley was formerly Professor of Economics and Head of the Economics Department (1991-1996) at Loughborough University. He is a member and former member of several Government and semi-government committees relating to the Middle East and Arab Gulf and has been adviser to the Saudi Arabian Government, World Bank, IMF (et al.) in recent years.
